Accessible and Inclusive Tourism: this is the theme that guided us in the creation of ‘Together Without Barriers’, an event held in the splendid Piazza Sirena in Francavilla al Mare.
The project, born on the initiative of the Abruzzo Region, has an international scope, placing sustainable cycle tourism and its usability for all at the centre, inspired by the models of the great Northern European realities.
The objective was to raise awareness of the value of accessible tourism and embrace a process of improvement of our territory.

We took care of the visual image of the event, the entire organization, set up, invitation, logistic and stage, communication and promotion,  starting from the concept of an Inclusive village, chosen to create an open space, without visual or architectural barriers, capable of also welcoming people with disabilities together with family and friends.

With partner associations we have organized various experiential activities for the community:
• Artistic mosaic and costume jewelery workshops
• Handmade paper workshop with master paper makers
• Kayak and catamaran experiences, handbike tests
• Musical performances
• Panels dedicated to associations and sustainable tourism, sport and accessible tourism, sustainable and inclusive Abruzzo.

To give even more importance to the event, we involved LORENA ZICCARDI: Athlete of the national paralympic basketball team and also a cyclist, protagonist of the final video of the Bike to Coast for Everyone project, which encompassed the entire path undertaken by the Region and its partners in making the Abruzzo coast accessible.
