At Tokyo 2020, OIKO witnessed the realization of a project called Pentathlon Arena that began in 2019 and involved the design of the new stadium format on behalf of the UIPM – World Pentathlon.

The design of the Pentathlon Arena project, approved by the IOC for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, was already introduced in Tokyo with the adaptation of the Tokyo Stadium to allow the five disciplines to be played in a single location, the new format came to life on the morning of the 6 August 2021.

With over twenty years of experience in the world of sport and international events, OIKO celebrates this new milestone, congratulating the Union Internationale de Pentathlon Moderne and feeling like one of the Olympic players with a dream that has come true.
