The CONI Winter Trophy has been postponed

New route in Abruzzo from Thursday 16th to Sunday 19th January 2025

The CONI Winter 2024 Trophy is postponed to January. The third edition of the Trophy, scheduled from 12 to 15 December 2024 in Abruzzo, on the Altopiano delle Rocche and in Roccaraso, has been postponed to next month, from 16 to 19 January, “due to unfavorable weather conditions”.

The CONI Winter Trophy, initially scheduled for December, has been postponed to January. This isn’t a setback—it’s a chance to raise the bar even higher for expectations and planning.

The date of an event is like a fixed point on a map, but when it changes, it becomes an opportunity to turn the journey into something even more remarkable.

Here’s how we manage change and draw inspiration from it:

Promptly informing all participants and partners.

Using the extra time to fuel excitement with teaser content, sneak peeks, and pre-event initiatives to keep the audience engaged.

Refining every detail, because every additional day is an opportunity to perfect the details, enhance surprises, and ensure an unforgettable experience.

Oiko will organize the opening and closing ceremonies of the Trophy and all the locations involved remain confirmed: the opening ceremony will be held in the municipality of Celano, while the races of the disciplines linked to the FISI (Italian Winter Sports Federation) and the FITRI (Italian Triathlon Federation) will take place in the localities of Ovindoli and Rocca di Mezzo, taking advantage of the “Monte Magnola”, “Campo Felice” and “Piano di Pezza” facilities. The competitions relating to ice sports, organized by the FISG (Italian Ice Sports Federation), will be held in Roccaraso, at the “G. Bolino”. The closing ceremony will be staged, however, in Ovindoli.
